Who we are?

The association is there to help and accompany people who are interested in understanding their mind. It is under the lineage of His Holiness Jamyang Lungdok Gyaltsen Rinpoche. The association helps to promote wisdom of the Buddha, especially in the modern time. We accompany people who are already followers of Buddha, and also those who what to know more about themselves.

Teacher

Tupten Lakshyong Gyamtso, who followed HH Jamyang Lungdok Gyaltsen Rinpoche since 2006. From 2015, Rinpoche assigned Lama Lakshyong to come to Europe twice a year to teach European students. Lama Lakshyong has led the last four annual European meditation retreats held between 2016 to 2019 in Germany, France, Sweden and Belgium, respectively. 

Lama Lakshyong also speaks to interested non-sectarian groups about the importance of our mind in our daily life and the practice of meditation, including to University students and school students.

Who am I ? 🙂

This is a very good question of which I am still involved in the process of investigating. My Dharma name is Tupten Lakshyong Gyamtso and the former years of my life were predominantly concerned with pursuing material concerns like status and wealth. In the process of going through midlife crisis in 2006, I had the incredible fortune of meeting a great, kind and wise teacher HH Gyalwai Nyugu Rinpoche to whom I am most grateful. From Rinpoche I learned about the importance of our mind, kindness and wisdom, and the related benefits for others and for myself. I now use the methods taught to me in Tibetan Buddhism as a means to practise, improve and transform in this regard. It is an ongoing process.
